The short version
- No advertising, no tracking, no analytics, and no third-party trackers.
- We never sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for their own use.
- Our games can run fully offline. Offline play sends us nothing.
- We collect only what is needed to run the features you choose to use.
This website
The website is static. It sets no cookies, loads no third-party scripts or fonts, and contains no analytics. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (IP address, requested page, time, browser type) for a short period to operate and secure the service.
Offline play
Our games can be played in a browser on a local network, on a pocket WiFi hub with no internet connection, and over long-range mesh radios. In these modes, game data stays on the devices and radios taking part in the game. Nothing is sent to us.
Online accounts
If you choose to create an online account to play over the internet, we store on our server:
- a username you pick,
- a cryptographic hash of your password (we never store the password itself),
- records of the games you play through the account (participants, moves, results, timestamps).
We use this data only to operate your account and the games you play. We do not require an email address, real name, phone number, or any other identifying detail to create an account. You can ask us to delete your account and its records at any time by emailing the address below.
Voice
Our games can read table chat aloud. Speech is generated either on your device or by our server. When our server generates speech, the text is processed to produce audio and the result is kept only in a short-lived cache so repeated phrases play quickly. We do not keep voice audio or chat text beyond that cache, and we do not use it for any other purpose. Our games do not record your microphone.
Children
Our games are designed to be played without an account, and accounts collect no identifying information. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Data security
Connections to our servers use encryption in transit. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes. Access to server data is limited to what is needed to run the service.
Your rights
You can request a copy of the data tied to your account, correct it, or have it deleted. Email us and we will respond within 30 days. Because we hold no identifying details, we may ask you to verify that you control the account before acting on a request.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above. Material changes that affect account holders will also be announced in the game.
